It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I share this message as the President of the Tripura Golf Association (TGA). The reconstitution of TGA in July 2025 marks a significant milestone for our state. With the support of the Olympic Association of Tripura, the Tripura Sports Council, and our affiliation with the Indian Golf Union (IGU), we are entering a new era of structured growth and opportunity for golfers in Tripura.

To me, golf is more like meditative — a sport that cultivates focus, discipline, patience, and inner balance. It offers not only competitive spirit but also personal transformation. Our mission is to make this beautiful sport accessible and inspiring for the people of Tripura, especially the youth.

We are committed to developing infrastructure, introducing quality training programs, and organising regular tournaments to identify and nurture emerging talent. With IGU’s support, our players will now have pathways to national-level exposure and advancement.

I believe that with collective effort and community participation, Tripura can build a vibrant and promising golfing culture. I warmly invite everyone—players, enthusiasts, and well-wishers—to join us in this exciting journey.
